Billy focuses his practice on federal and complex commercial litigation, with an emphasis on intellectual property, antitrust, and class action defense matters. He has significant experience from pre-suit investigation, to case management and strategy, critical and expert witness depositions, oral argument on pre-trial motions, witness preparation and examination at trial, and all manners of briefing. He has represented clients from a diverse range of industries, including pharmaceuticals, financial services, life sciences, technology, insurance, environmental, and other service and product industries, insurance, environmental, and other service and product industries. Billy has also established a corporate practice, where he represents clients in mergers, acquisitions, restructuring, and contract negotiations.

At the start of his legal career, Billy was judicial law clerk to the Honorable Jose L. Linares, former Chief Judge of the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey, and thereafter received an appellate clerkship with the Honorable Maryanne Trump Barry of United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Following his clerkship with Judge Barry, Billy was a litigation associate at a large multi-state law firm handling commercial and IP litigation. Billy is a member of the John C. Lifland American Inn of Court and Columbia Bank’s Millennial Advisory Board, a dynamic group of young professionals.

Billy received his Bachelor of Arts from the Catholic University of America in 2010. He received his J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law where he was selected to present the 2014 Seton Hall Law Student Commencement Speech and was named best oral advocate in the Spring 2013 Appellate Advocacy presentation. During law school, Billy served as intern for the Honorable Dennis M. Cavanaugh of the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.
